We would like to offer a special thank you to the Butler Band Alumni of ALL ages. The great program that we currently have at Butler stems from the roots that were established when you were part of this program. Our motto “Pride, Tradition, and Excellence” has been handed down by you, and we are proud to uphold it.
This section of our webpage will be used to keep each of you connected to the band. We will periodically post upcoming events as well as needs that the band may have. Please spread the word to all of your band “friends” that you may still be connected with. I know there are thousands of people out there that have been positively affected by being a part of this great tradition we call “band”.
Alumni Band – 2016
We are having our annual Alumni Band/Sequinette gathering and performance on October 7, 2016. There is NO COST to be a part of this gathering.
All instrumentalists must provide their own instruments. None will be provided.
Only people that are playing/dancing/twirling/flagging will be allowed to participate/march in with the band.
4:30 – 5:30 PM: Reception/Gathering @ the Intermediate High School for ALL alumni. We will have cookies and punch but the main thing for everyone at this time will be to visit with each other.
5:30 – 6:30 PM: Rehearsal for all performers. All instrumental musicians MUST have their own instruments. No instruments are available to borrow. Dancers, flags, twirlers will rehearse/review the fight song, alma mater, and star spangled banner routines.
6:45 PM: All performers will march into the stadium with the band. All others will need to Purchase tickets and watch the game from the stands. Only performers will be allowed to march with the band. Following pre-game, performers will be allowed to join the band for the first half to play stands tunes. At half-time, performers will be escorted to the home stands to watch half-time performance.
After the game we can continue the evening at Applebee’s.
We will have an alumni band/sequinette apparel store asset up at the Intermediate HS during the reception
1. What instrument/position are you interested in participating in?
2 Will you be attending the reception? Even those people that do not want to perform as WELCOME at the reception.

The band is ALWAYS in need of money and resources to help make the students experience a great one. If you are in the position in life to give back to this great group, please contact Mr. Kroner. Donations could be anything from cases of water, medical supplies, money, or any other items you have access to that may help the current students.
